Meet our ‘son of a fisherman’ Jakob from Mingara Seafood, who has you covered with a selection of the freshest catch every Saturday and Sunday.

Jakob is one of our longest-standing stallholders after launching his business at our Bundall market 13 years ago. A career as a fisherman was off the cards thanks to his tendency to get extremely sea sick, but instead he decided to sell his father’s catch direct to the public.

He is now a market stalwart and has since branched out to stock a small selection of premium meats, including Tasmanian Cape Grim Beef and whole chickens, alongside the best locally caught seafood around.
